Grant might need some help figuring out who's who when he arrives next year. (Alright, truth is that I love photos.)

If we're lucky, and they stick around for a while, these seniors will help show Grant the ropes:

Ira brown:

Jeremy Pargo:

And these two other then-to-be-seniors:

Josh Heytvelt:

And Micah Downs:

A very choice class of four sophomores, including:

Rob Sacre:

(We need some action pics of Theo!)

And one freshman will also be joining Grant in the fall of 2008:

08-09 is absolutely stacked.

I'd love to see where that team is ranked in the preseason.

It has all the markings of a terrific team. Gibbs is a lot like Stepp.

Please tell me his knees are better than Stepp's...

....Bouldin and Daye are the keys to the near future..........They have more upside than anyone in the program.........

I agree regarding Bouldin. I'd like to see Daye play a couple of games, though, at the D1 Level before I designate him a key player.

Remembering Pendo playing out of position, (God Bless him) much taller guys the last couple of years, I am happy for huge 7' plus athletic guys. While I think Bouldin and Daye and actually all the returning players will have great upside, I think it is the center position or more athletic tall players could be the most welcomed sight.

If Josh liked banging down low, having him back would fill the void quickly, but I sense a need for for Foster and Sacre to step up in the middle to help out Kuso's efforts.

Dominant play down low would free up our defense to create more havoc.

At least that is the upside I am looking for. Defense that creates havoc for opposing teams. Aggresive defense that says, I may overplay you, but if you drive past me you will NOT like what is waiting for you.

I think Kuso, Foster and Sacre by year end could have the upside we need the most.

Pargo and Heytvelt are the keys to the near future more than anyone. (at least this next year and maybe the year after that) I think Davis will be getting more playing time down low than Kuso or Foster, if not the whole season, the second half at least.
