Yes, they have been fun to watch. It's not often that a Iowa high school team spits out a D1 player every year. Go Lions!

I actually made those videos, glad to see that they've made their way to the Gonzaga boards! If you guys would like, I can put together a video of all of Grant's shots and key passes etc. and put that on youtube as well, so that you get to see more of what you'll be getting in a couple of years. He really is a tremendous player.

that would be awesome if you could, and greatly appreciated

That would be greatly appreciated, LMA. Anything insightful that you can tell us Zags about General Grant and his game is always welcome, too.

That would make you a lot of friends around here, I'm sure!

I will do that and hopefully it'll be on youtube in a week or so. Grant has a smooth, easy shot that has improved a lot from his sophomore to junior year. He is very accurate on 3's and has great range. Like ZagsAllDay said, this kid can pass. He and Jordan Printy (#24) have been playing together for years and that has created some great chemistry on the court and I have to believe that after just a little time playing with everyone at Gonzaga, there will be that same kind of chemistry. He is a very team-oriented player, which has stemmed from the fact that both years he has played on varsity he has had two D-1 SG's that have been there to lead the team in scoring (Printy from this year who is going to Indiana St. and Jason Bohannon from two years ago who is now at Wisconsin). I think that this kid has a very high ceiling of potential because I think we have only seen glimpses of what he is capable of here at Linn-Mar.

After watching some of those videos, while Gibbs certainly looked good, Jordan Printy (#24) looked incredible.

Very nice, those kind of contributions make this board a must see.....every day. :)

Please continue to share your thoughts about his game as you think of them. First question I asked our (season tickets) Pastor at church this morning was, "Who is Grant Gibbs?" He surprisingly failed the test.

It is fun to know the Zags. :D

So, the video of all Grant's clips is taking a LOT longer than expected because hundreds of clips from this season are stored on my computer and they aren't organized so that means going through them all individuallly. But I did manage to put together this little preview.
