Florida St. was leading the ACC by virtue of beating NC & Duke in the space of a week. They take their show on the ROAD vs BC, loser's of 6 in a row, & get beat.

Austin. Rivers.

Why people continue to defend the three point with arms down boggles my mind. Sure the defender throws his hand up and attempts a block, but any shooter knows once your in motion the late "hand up" doesn't affect your shot. Poor defense, good shot, game over.

Nobody's going to talk about it because of River's shot, but the tip-in Zeller had on the previous Duke posession was crazy. I don't think I've ever seen one go in from that far away from the basket before. The ball just bounced Duke's way tonight.

And River's is amazing. That doesn't hurt.

You have to defend Rivers for the 3 point shot in that situation. Make him put it on the floor.

Especially with Henson protecting the rim.

Carolina got forced to switch on the perimeter with a high screen, sound familiar? Zeller ended up on Rivers, and it was a one point game, so Zeller was afraid to give up the drive and is obviously not as good a perimeter defender as others for the Heels. So Rivers found space.

still got ot get a hand up tho, which he did, but too far away

I saw some replays, but I wasn't sure - was one of the potential calls actually goaltending?

It wasn't controversial at all. A Duke player took a 3 pointer which was a very bad miss, an airball actually.

Zeller of UNC went up to essentially catch the airball in mid air and accidentally tipped it in, scoring 2 points for Duke.
