The house of pain...pun intended....the place where the dream of the first outright conference title died......:p

Here's what we can do on Thursday:
If you're a student, you should already know what to do. If not, look at the people in the front 3 rows, and that should tell you all you need to know.

If you're a fan, do what the students do (within reason). I don't care if you look like a fool. You're here to cheer on the team, not sip wine in the social club until 5 minutes into the 2nd half. I know some of KC's cheers might be a bit crude, but at least join in on some of the more appropriate ones. Stand up and applaud good plays, and let the noise level build. If SMC takes a timeout in response to a Gonzaga run, and you feel the urge to stand up and applaud the team (which I commend), for God's sake don't sit down and stop making noise as soon as play starts again (this one in particular makes me mad). It destroys any emotion and/or momentum that the crowd (and team) had. We students may be loud, but the rest of the fans add the deep roar that makes the environment so intimidating for the opposing team.

From an email sent out by Kennel Board a few days ago:

Also, just so you all know, the Kennel Club is being featured in the NCAA tournament brochure. Basically, when an article on student sections was being written, several ESPN broadcasters said it would be a wasted article if the Kennel Club wasn't in it. Let's show St. Mary's what a true home court advantage looks like.

By the power vested in me by...well...myself..., I name all of you as honorary members of the Kennel Club. The power of Rob's shiny head compels you. Zag up.

I rest my case. I apologize for the rant, but this is the most important game of our season, and everybody can do something to help this team.

It all comes down to this game. Win it or lose the title. Nothing else.
