This kid is hot. It's never easy. Sounds like a smaller version of Winston Brooks, about the size of Q. Sampson sure is pushing hard. We'll see.

After watching his video and reading things about him I don't see the Brooks comparison? He looks much faster and quicker with his dribble. He looks more like Nate Robinson to me, huge vertical.

It seems the type of recruits we are looking at for 08 like Rotnei Clarke,Grant Gibbs, along with Andy Poling are all highly skilled players, but not super athletic or great defenders.A player like Jackson would really balance out this class.

Consider, too, the possibility that Pargo "could" jump to the NBA next spring, and suddenly the Zags' already thin backcourt becomes Bouldin and Gray, that's it. So theoretically, adding Gibbs, Clarke and Jackson could be Few's plan (all three!), to replenish the guard depth. That said, GU's chances at greatness in 08/09 would be greatly diminished if Pargo leaves early. The team can absorb losing Josh and still be a strong nationwide force as Daye, Gray, Sacre, Ira, make a big jump, but not so much if both Josh and Jeremy bolt. No frosh can do what Pargo will be able to do as a senior two seasons from now.

Not saying this scenario will, in fact, play out, but Few has to expect the unexpected here. He can't allow himself to be blindsided by anything.
