Cable company?

I had the same problem. Missed almost the entire second half.

However, it looked like the cable company was the problem. All those paid ads are a Frontier staple. Root always has those college basketball ads.

Are you also perhaps on Frontier?

If you're gonna start ranting and laying blame make sure you know the culprit. I have DirecTV and had no such problem (other than the delayed start because of UW's game). I think it might be your cable carrier.

Unbelievable - here's what I got

Once the first half ended 20+ minutes of commercials ran and when they finally ended it was 3 minutes into the second half. Later at exactly the 10 minute mark (left) the same 20 minute plus string of commercials. When the game came back on there was little over 3 minutes left.

Seriously.

After the broadcast ended the same 20+ minutes of commercials aired again.

Unexcusable.

I didn't notice anything besides the late start from the UW game.

This would be a legitimate b*tch if it was directed towards the fact that Root wants to schedule games beginning at 3:00 and 5:00. There really is no reason to do that -- they had the USC-OSU game start at 8:00.

And the complaint also could be directed at GU who lets this happen. Any reason they can't just schedule the Varsity game to start 2 hours and 15 minutes after the JV?
