the WSOP has been going on for about a month now, (with today being Day 1C for the Main Event). So I thought it was time to catch up on the proceedings .... I was able to ascertain that Nathan did cash in one of the tourneys (http://www.pokerlistings.com/live-tournaments/wsop/2007/event31/final-results).

Event 31 - $5000 buy-in / 500 entrants. He came in 57th for a $9212 (and change) payday.

Good luck to Nathan and any other Zag fans still alive in the big one.

Others remaining in the hunt for the top prize were Lee Childs, a 35-year-old software engineer from Reston, Va., with 13.2 million; and Lee Watkinson, 40-year-old pro from Cheney, Wash., in sixth with 9.9 million.

Lee Watkinson has been a Vegas pro for a long time now, and many have felt he would go deep in this tournament since the beginning. He's been a solid threat the entire time, and all things equal would be the favorite to win at this point. (things aren't equal, he has about 40% of the chips of the current leader). But Lee will put on a solid showing, no doubt.

How's Amarillo Slim and Jesus doing? 9.9 mil? I'd cash out right now. :D
