Player of the week - Question

I noticed in the Seattle paper that Wroten was player of the week for the PAC12. They were saying how long it had been for a UW player (Hawes) and for the whole pac 12 (Mayo).

So my question is (for you knowlegeable ones), is when was the last GU FRESHMAN player? How often does a FRESHMAN get that honor in WCC?

    Thanks ahead of time.

P.S. Yes, I know that Pangos has gotten it twice this year. I just want to know how common it is in the WCC. Congrats.

Looking at the WCC news link-- here is what we have had this year (you can also get a glance of what historically has happened).

8 Players of the week to date.

Pangos twice (Dec 26 and Nov 21)
    Harris once (Dec 19)
    LMU Hamilton once
    San Francisco Coloiaro once
    Santa Clara Roquemore once
    BYU Hartsock once
    BYU Davies once

67, Did you mean freshman POW? It sounds like that's what you're referring to, but it didn't say that in your post.

Yes, I did. My fault. Thanks. Yes, and I was just again wondering how often freshmen get that honor in the WCC.
