Few Is “Money” From Half Court

From SWX – you have to see this – GhostZag

“The play of the night – across Eastern Washington AND the nation – came courtesy of Gonzaga's Mark Few on Tuesday.
Yes, Few coached his Zags to a win over Butler. But it was what he did during practice BEFORE the game that even had SportsCenter talking. As practice was winding down the Zags decided to have a half court shooting contest. And wouldn't you know it? Coach Few heaved one up from the mid-court line and banked it in”.

Money. Just like Jimmer. And the cameras from ESPN just happened to be rolling, too. Congratulations, Coach Few. You're on SportsCenter!

If you ignore the halfcourt airball I shot while in the MAC a few years ago, I am pretty much TOTALLY awesome at half court shots.

I swear someone opened a door right before I shot that! I felt this huge gust of wind coming toward me as I released the ball. That is the ONLY viable explanation!

Right.

GoClang also had a tough outing in the last game played in the old Kennel. 10 free throws -- the 1st one nothing but twine. The ensuing 9 ??? Well, that earned the "name" change to GoClang from BobZag.

I believe he stepped over the line, so it is an almost half court shot.
