Gonzaga 77
Air Force 57

I think it's time for the Zags to have a game that isn't so close. I know Air Force will be tough, and they are disciplined, as BZ says but I am just thinking that we have enough talent and are playing so well now that the Zags will finally get some seperation from an opponent and the bench guys will get to play more.

Zags running away. AF looks TO prone and we are tightening things up.

Zags offense comes out firing on all cylinders and opens up a big first half lead. Carter, Spangler, and Guy get significant PT in the second half.

This will be the game where we will see Keita, Hoff, Spangler getting some minutes :p and Sacre breaking out with his double digits scoring.

Kinda worried about a let down, but Zags should handle this pretty easily. 17 point win. 71-54.

Normally I would pick a wider score difference, but their may be a lot of subbing and it could get ragged.

I was wondering, Sacrae seemed real off last night. Don't know if it was my imagination, but was he favoring his left hand trying to protect his right hand. He jumped the ball with his left hand, he went after blocks primarily with his left hand and even shot left handed hooks. Combine that with his lack of aggression and I'm worried we have a hurt player. Anyone else get the same feeling? Hope I'm totally wrong!

Would really like the 20-point win here. It's been a while (notre dame) since we ran away with it. I hope the offense can keep firing on all cylinders like it has been since Arizona.

Go Zags!

I haven't seen Air Force play...but, that might be right... hope so, as that will give Few a opportunity to give the reserves some minutes to work out some problem , get some experience and have some fun...

I see a let down too. Everybody else seems very confident with this one.

No KC, limited TV, bad perimeter D. I'm not sold on a blowout of any kind. I hope I am dead wrong.

Doubt we score 80+ against Air Force. The Princeton offense limits the number of possessions for both teams. Do think we'll win handily, however.

1 day to prep for Princeton-style offense and defense = tough assignment. Some of these young guys may have never seen anything like it. Besides Butler to an extent, this will be the first time they have to use their bball IQ on both sides of the ball at every moment. AFU has just enough pieces with tremendous shooters, athletic forward, & smart, disciplined players to make this a game.

GU - 71
AFU - 67

ps. this is the 4th game in 7 days for these guys and they've been giving great effort, Air Force has had 6 days to prepare for us. They've been in Spokane since Monday.

Thanks for the welcome! When the Zags come to the Bay Area I try to see them at least once a year, typically at USF. This year I already have my Saint Mary's / Zags tickets for the game in Moraga. Will be sporting my Zags gear there as usual. The single game tickets for the USF game are yet to go on sale. I am trying to work the SCU game into my schedule but the only conflict is the Thursday tilt. I'm leaning towards going!
