Xavier is missing 4 players, including Tu, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

YEs, but that is without their two stars guards. They may well lose this game, which is bad for GU. (X goes down in the polls.)

At the half....13 turn overs...gang bangers still woofing.... Mack pulling his hair out...

I realize X is missing their two leading scorers this game, yet mentioned several times before, I was thoroughly impressed with Oral Roberts as a team the other night. They have size, athleticism, toughness in their 3,4,5 positions and guards that don't make many mistakes and control the tempo. They have a NBA prospect at SF and a former Zag recruit at C to boot. All of their losses have been close ones for the most part and they were even missing their 2nd leading scorer and leading rebounder for most of the season until recently. I think they are going to be a "quality win" when its all said and done -- oh and GO ORU!

tainted!

It may be tainted from the standpoint of this current game. But I hope the NCAA doesn't take this loss (if they lose to ORU) as a loss "without 4 top players." Xavier shouldn't get any "benefit of the doubt" from what they caused themselves.

It's 36 - 19 right now.

Wouldn't this win actually help us? Isn't RPI based on not only your schedule, but also your opponent's opponent's? What I mean is this will certainly go down as a quality win by the computers for ORU, and thus improve our win. There is no doubt X will stay good and ranked and thus if we were to pull off the win, would be a quality win. All this is of course IF ORU wins and we win. Both still ifs. I think I just confused myself.

58-30 That's a good Oral Roberts team.

Even with players out, X was a 7 point favorite.

Mark and I concentrate on the things we can control. We understand the RPI can effect seeding and site but our theory is to just win and that will take care of everything...that is what Mark and I believe...

Game is RPI neutral for the Zags, as they play each once.

Meanwhile, GO JACKRABBITS!

they zipped them up.....the ORU win was a quality win and will look better at the end of the season, same with Arizona...
