Just watched this week's episode with Coach Miller on FoxSports AZ. Here are highlights:

*AZ is shooting 49.6% and avging 77.5 points in their last two away games.
*Kevin Parrom is a 3 pt specialist
*Coach emphasizes a quest for 2nd shots (ie. get more off rbs)
*Kyle Fogg is a great defender
*Opponents are shooting 40.2%
*Az is 5-1 when they win the battle of the boards
*Freshman Nick Johnson was the PLayer of the Week this past week
*Opponents don't get many trips to the free throw line

And when specifically asked about the GU game, coach Miller said:

"GU has talent and experience, especially their juniors and seniors, who have been with the same coaching staff, same system, and believe in that system. GU is not going to beat themselves, so we have to find a way to play harder and have an excellent game. GU executes and screens when they are supposed to, they are a great opponent. These types of games are good challenges for us to get better. They have a talented roster that could play in any conference in the country. They always have a tough NC schedule and are battle tested."

Well, its a challenge then -- our "KP" is going to need to out-shoot their "KP".

We're going to have our hands full with Nick Johnson, very talented Frosh.

"GU is not going to beat themselves...

The sheer volume of turnovers recently would suggest otherwise

Look for their KP to have a career day

Strange eval of GU. They have 2 seniors and 2 Juniors in the rotation and only one of those (carter) is in the backcourt, and Cater has only been for at GU since last year, the other is a former walk on that has had consistent minutes until the end of last season into this one. The problem for GU is inexperience especially at the guard position. Seems like Sean hadn't gotten a full report on the Zags before the report. The game will match up two talented but inexperienced backcourts. Harris and Sacre have to be big because that is where GU has an advantage.
