Apparently Dan Dakich is announcing tonights Zag Sparty game and was treated rudely yesterday in Spokane. Here's his tweet from yesterday.

"In Spokane.. Been flipped off 2x's already.. Usually doesn't happen til after I broadcast a game."

Here are his tweets this morning about the Zags:

"Watched Zags practice last night..easy 2 see why Few so successful..really smart tough guys that never have to be told 2x..key v MSU..boards"

"Also Zags much more physical than anticipated..Harris Sacre Dower blasting each other in both drills and play.."

Gold star to the first person who gets my Michael Jordan reference. No, I'm not referring to a Hane's Lay Flat Collar T Shirt commercial.

That's unfortunate.

I wonder what he did, if anything. People generally don't randomly get the finger twice in a day.

Those birds might have come from his crew, too.

that's the equivalent of getting the keys to the city.

He didn't get flipped off. It's a portrayal to ease him into the part about " usually doesn't happen untill I broadcast a game".
Just a transition line.

Find out he was assigned to guard MJ made Dakich puke.

I'll be the first to admit, I was flipped the ol' bird many times, yet I owe this solely to the never ending one-way streets around town. You're bound to make a driving mistake navigating Spokane for the first time. My visiting friends/family shared similar sentiments.

Dakich held Jordan to 13 points in 1984 UNC-IU tournament game. Dakich gave MJ the outside shot (which was off that day) and denied the drive. Plus MJ had some foul trouble, thus had limited minutes.

Dan Dakich, the only human being to shut down Michael Jordan. In 1984, IU upset and knocked out a great UNC team in the East Regional.

He probably stopped at a red light. Spokane drivers know that the red light doesn't count until three cars have already gone through it.

Honestly, the "flip off" was a misunderstanding. Kiddwell was saying, "You're No. 1! You're No. 1!" Twice.

Dan Dakich, the only human being to shut down Michael Jordan

....as the joke goes: Who's the only man who could hold MJ to under 20 points a game?
