ESPN says (http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school/washington/post/_/id/468/all-state-hoops-washington) Gonzaga has offered this sophomore from Lincoln H.S.:

F: Tre’shaun Lexing, Lincoln, 6-6/180, Sophomore
Scored nearly 18 points a game and already has an offer from Gonzaga.

Don't believe I've heard that name.

Ehh, no. Lincoln High of Tacoma, which produced (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_High_School_%28Tacoma,_Washington%29) Jon Kitna, Lawyer Milloy and ... Pappy Boyington.

Pulling down double-double's like they were nothing you could think he was talking about burgers from McDonald's

Lexing is a jr this year. Definitely has the size and athleticism of a high major wing, but didn't stand out when I saw him last yr. If true he has an offer, coaches must see a lot of potential for growth and improvement. 4th team allstate, behind Ivy recruits, seems about right for now.

Lexing is off to a good start this season. As a sophomore he played second fiddle to some seniors on a Lincoln squad that was ranked in the top 5 for most of the season. I think he had a couple really good games last year including the one I watched where he had 17 pts and 11 rebounds while exhibiting good vision and skills.

This season he is their go-to guy. I've seen some of the prep writers describe him as a point-forward, but in the two games I've scouted Lincoln he has just been a 6'6" point guard for them. At the next level he is a wing. He has a good shot, keeps moving with or without the ball, uses his length to put incredible pressure on the ball, and did a much better job last night involving his teammates than he did against Mt. Tahoma earlier this season.

I wasn't super impressed in the Mt. Tahoma game, but I thought he was very good last night. He only had 17 points but could have easily had 30 if he wasn't working so hard to involve his teammates. I don't know what kind of kid he is, but I'd be pretty happy if GU was able to land him.

Not the Resort course, it's on the lake. Don't know about other courses, it's the only C D'A course I've played, and only 3 times. It's expensive!

That quote is a bad mixed metaphor; double doubles are from In-N-Out, not Mickey Dees.
