UW will be upset. Romar gave a schollie to his older brother to (alledgedly) get Jrue. Although personally, I think he's a tad overrated.

What a trio of guards UCLA has coming in for 2008.....Holiday, Lee and Anderson. Lee's stock has been rising like crazy this spring/summer - it wouldn't surprise me to see him end up being a top 15 player. Holiday is a lock to be a top 5 player.

I'm glad Romar's ploy didn't work. :) Not making the NIT despite having two Burger Boys probably turned off Jrue.

I'm sure he's great at b-ball, but I just can't get over his 1st name...it's worse than JamesOn...

Romar has been whiffing quite a bit lately. Not making the NIT does that. ;)

It will be interesting to see if Howland opens up UCLA's offense a bit with all of this talent coming in. I'm sure he won't budge on his dogged committment to defense--nor should he, it works--but I wonder if he will put more organization/options into their offense for the new guys. He may just sort of let these things happen with the players he has being able to make more plays. Just by virtue of the guys he has they should be better at scoring, even without changing a thing.
