Very good post Lynette! We have lots of talent. We can go further than a Swt 16. With a bounce or two going our way, we can be in the E 8... ........just.....just....a .......bounce..........or......two:)

Would Keita be a starter for any of our WCC brethren?

Sam Dower didn't make the list of Sophomores, but after this season, he'll earn a spot on the list of Juniors...

This is a great find/read. I think both Elias and Rob could even be rated even higher by the end of the year. Its good to see that there are others who see the talent that the Zags have. The Kool Aid suddenly tastes even better.

...And where the heck was Gary Bell Jr? A big miss for the freshman list, IMO. You'd think his upside and potential would get him a mention...Lynette's right though- how the heck do you rank freshman who aren't Burger Boys???

I take all the rankings, watch lists, etc., with a grain of salt....there are so many variables that come into play (remember back to school or being 18-22?). I think the defining characteristic is consistency. And with that, ranking freshman is a crap shoot since there is no body of work at this level.

All that being said, I'm pleased that our guys are being recognized. It'll help recruiting and hopefully get the program some more exposure.

It's an NBA based site, so they're looking at it from the perspective of perceived draft potential. My guess is that since most "experts" consider GB to be a sg, and he's too small for that position in the NBA, he was left off. Nothing to do with how good a college player he projects to be.

The inclusion of Keita paired with the omission of Bell on these lists says a lot about the NBA game, and why many college fans mostly ignore it.

But I wonder about the chemistry on his teams. Our team appears to have a strong bond and a lot of heart at this point. The unmentioned on these lists could be serious impact players for us - Carter, Stocks, Dower, Spangler, Bell, Landry.
