"He [Gillespie] wants to develop me [DeAndre Liggins] as a point guard, and that's the position where I feel comfortable. Not all of the schools were recruiting me to play that position."

Hmmmmmmmm. Rotnei Clarke is a 2008 PG.

I would imagine UK will still recruit Clarke though as the Liggins kid is really more of a point forward. But one would have to think the supposed Clarke/Warren packaged deal won't be coming to Lexington.

Hmmmm, I have no idea what this might mean in regards to the recruitment of Clarke.

Any of you recruiting guru's care to comment.

I'm nowhere near a recruiting guru, but I'm not sure this means a whole lot. Clarke has said he doesn't care if he's used at PG or SG. Maybe one of the recruiting gurus can comment on this, but I'm sure UK could just tell Clarke that they're looking at him as more of an SG with some possible back-up time at PG and it wouldn't affect their chances at all.

A lot depends on the system run. Gonzaga last year at some point had this lineup:

pargo
pmac
raivio
bouldin
heytvelt

some teams can have a lot of gaurds. I think it hurts the combo deal...who knows if kentucky will take/want 3 pg/cgs in 08
