I noticed that a sibling of Mr. Olynyk's is enjoying her own success north of the border, recenty being named to an ID camp for the selection of Canada's Women's Cadet team, which I believe is U17.

The remarkable thing is, Mara Olynyk is Grade 10, typically a U16 player ...lots more to hear from her I'm sure.

If she's anything like her brother she will grow 5" or so before she makes it to college!

As much as Maya is on the radar, the player to be most interested in Ron, is Emma Wolfram, her SKSS teamate. 6'4" Emma is a future national team player and could be one of the most dominant post players for her age in the world. Keep in mind that she made last years National U17 1st all star when she could still have been playing U15. The Zag staff are already well aware of this pair from Kamloops. Don't bypass Kolbie Oram either, she is another young BC player who has all the potential to make an impact in D1. BC U17 should clean up at Nationals again this summer. The National Cadette team should also do well

Emma really sounds good. We had great success with Janelle Bekkering. Let the tadition continue.

Word from the Canadian national camp is that Emma was so impressive at the camp last week that she may even get a run with the U19 side this summer (depending on who is able to get a release from down south Universities). She is that good.
