Big Crowd could slow traffic around arena

If you are an out of towner driving in or you are not familiar with traffic patterns around the Spokane Veterans Arena you would be wise to heed this traffic bulletin put out by the Spokane Police Dept. this afternoon. In addition parking may be an issue for many as some of the lots you may be thinking of using may be full as this is a normal workday and not a Saturday afternoon. While there will be no slowdowns or foulups with the will call window you should give yourself extra time to get to the arena and parked if you are driving. SPD traffic bulletin:

The Spokane Police Department is warning this evening's commuters that traffic along streets serving Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena could be tied up this afternoon.

Easiest place to park is the 110 car parks at the old Hostess Bakery factory. Right across the street from the Arena. $5. Next to the Flour Mills. You don't even have to drive into the Arena.closest and cheapest and easiest.

$5 and I guarantee your car will be there when you get back!!! 810 n Lincoln...look for the sigs! 1 block up from Anthony's restaurant.
