I have set up a bracket pool for the GUB community.

PM me for Group ID and Password if you care to join in.

No fees, no pressure. A small prize for the winner. . .etc.

Unlimited Bragging Rights at your local water cooler

Entry deadline is before the start of the so-called "Second Round" games on Thursday

I'm in. WE ONLY HAVE 2 DAYS THIS YEAR SO HURRY!!! This used to be my gig. I gave away an autograph from my collection to the winner. I dropped the ball last year, so someone else picked it up.

WHAT IS THE PRIZE RENO?

Plus at Yahoo, a perfect bracket wins 1,000,000 dollars!

I suggest filling out about 10 different brackets in other all the groups you can find.

Prize will include some vintage basketball cards featuring our HOF alumnus, John Stockton. . .and some other stuff.

I think the bragging rights are the most valuable. . .might even be able to convince LIZF to change the winner's designation beneath their name to "GUB Hoops Pool Champ 2011" or something along those lines. . .

Not sure what the submission deadline is.

DEADLINE: Tip-off, Thursday March 17th. You can always go to 4 other public groups and fill out 5 brackets.\

Money is involved so I suggest filling out the 5 brackets max. Make sure each is different too, don't just submit the same bracket.

I'd like to join in! Was in last year, and did pretty well.

Actually, I think for Yahoo! you only fill out one bracket and it's the same for every group you join (just against different people obviously). At least that's the way it was in past years, they might have changed it.

Some on-line bracket pool software will let the "Commissioner" set up the group to allow more than one pick sheet.

Some of the on line contests ( ESPN, Yahoo, and others ) will let a contestant enter multiple pick sheets. I think that's what OZN was referring to re: fill out a bunch of pick sheets

The GUB Yahoo Pick em is for amusement only, no entry fees, cash prizes, etc.

Words must be chosen carefully on forums. I should know that.

I just filled out 5 brackets, one for each group I join. There are a ton of public groups out there and yahoo set up one for each team as default. I was just saying that people might as well fill out 5 different brackets because the best bracket wins 10K, and a perfect bracket wins 1 mil. Through Yahoo!, not GUBoards.

Although as Reno pointed out, bragging rights on GUBoards is worth more than Michael Milken's Swiss Bank account.

I was wrong. Was just over there and noticed you CAN make different brackets. I can't remember last year but a few years ago I didn't think you could.

Anyway,....I'm in!!

I've used the hedging strategy before, but I don't like it. I spend more time making my best bracket and then using it to kick butt in multiple groups. It's frustrating when you have one good one and two bad ones. I'd rather all be good or all be bad.

Would that be the line for "Nice Try, See You Next Year " or would that be the line that has the sign that says " You must be THIS HIGH" to ride this attraction" ??

Uber's bracket is all red, especially the right side. On the right side, the only team he has in the Sweet 16 out of the 8 on that side is KU. He did have GU and UCLA in a Sweet 16 rematch---one can only hope!

A lot of people had horrible brackets this year. . .a private bracket pool I run for other than amusement purposes had 40 entries; not one picked UConn to win it all.

So your bracket wasn't nearly as horrible as some, believe me.

Yeah, I had UConn winning also, only in the women's bracket.
