Gonzaga was perfect at the line until the last minute when Keita missed one. They ended up 19-20.

Almost as impressive as their FT defense which held CSB to 30%;)

I think its pretty clear they have been working on their free throw defense lately!

I think Monny thought he was shooting FT's too.

Since we are now at the end of the regular season, it's worth noting that the team is now shooting 75.1% from the foul line. Compare that last year's 66.4%. That's a huge difference if you think about it. Especially because the team lost one of its better foul shooters in Matt Bouldin.

The starting lineup:

Goodson = 72.2% (56.1% last year)
Gray = 74.3%
Carter = 81.1%
Harris = 74.7% (67.6% last year)
Sacre = 82.1% (62.9% last year )

Key Reserves:

Stockton = 80.6%
Dower = 82.5%
Olynyk = 63.3%

Very impressive turnaround for our boys at the FT stripe.

Sacre, Harris and Dower have shot 328 foul shots between them. Not many teams have big men who can shoot foul shots like these guys can.

also should be noted one of the key offensive stats that have steadily improved from first half of league to second half of league play which is a very very good sign

First half we went 117 for 161

Second half of league we went 127 for 168

Free throws are a critical component to success in the post season play as reffing generally starts to tighten up
