The minutes were spread liberally tonight as the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners fell hard to the Gonzaga Bulldogs in Steven Gray's final home game.

Who gets your vote as the Zags' Player of the Game ?

It may not have been his best game, but I voted for Steven because it's his Senior Night.

This GUnit is for a lot more than a few shots made tonight but that three before being pulled pretty much summed up what I love about this kid: he never gets down and just keeps on coming - in everything he does.

What an ending to a great career in K2. That walk-off 3 was incredible, and I think Steven knew it was going to go in. It really was quite theatrical. It was like he was coming out for an oncore, and he saved his special signature shot for the end, that glorious, beautiful three-point shot.

Great ending. Now on to the next thing at hand. Getting a tournament championship trophy to bring back to GU.

Steven Gray ..... It's senior nite, should have been the only name listed. What a great four years he has given us. A great athlete and even a better person.

I thought your grandson should have gotten some sort of award for constant movement no matter where the ball was. Even during timeouts and halftime.

cheers !

Wish I had all his energy. At 2-1/2 he does watch part of the game, but when the score got out of hand he seemed to lose interest. :D

I think the Zags could have used him against WSU this year.

Maybe in 16 years?

You're probably right, Bocco. And if I had done it that way, some one would have griped that I left somebody out for sentimental reasons. . .

In any event, my vote went to Mr. Gray.

How can you not vote for Steven Gray on senior night.

The game was going to be a blowout regardless of who put up the highest numbers.

This night is more about a tribute than deep analysis of an otherwise forgettable game.

Any player that played with "MVP of the game" type numbers would tell you it was in honor of watching the senior hold up that trophy.

Thanks for 4 great years!

Steve is definitely not a "worrier". I don't think Steven Gray has a thing to "worry" about.

Gentleman, Scholar and Warrior yes. Worrier, no. LOL.
