Thanks, Angelo...

The Lady Zags continue to move up the list slowly but surely week by week.

I am surprised that North Carolina didn't fall farther down the list after their 3 losses last week.

Without a signature win I am still hoping for our sake we can get a 10-11 seed in the NCAA tournament or eek out a 6-7 seed and avoid the dreaded 8-9 seed.

Then I would hate to have such a great season end on running into a buzzsaw like Stanford or Baylor in the second round.

Bracketology has us at an 11 right now with Georgia Tech at the 6. If we somehow win, we are lined up with either UCLA or Oral Roberts.

Being an 11 seed IN SPOKANE of all places!!!! is about the best scenario any team could possibly hope for. Period.

The fodder for other teams and coaches to complain to the NCAA would lead to the tourney never having the first two weekends in the same city again. If we do land in spokane's regional, we had better go to the final four.

If you really look at where the bracketology sits right now

It is actually an amazing situation. Uniquely advantageous. And I hope the selection committee sees what Courtney's career can do for women's sports if she can reach the 2000/1000 milestone. A 10 or 11 seed might just get that extra game we/she needs.

I don't think the gals will get better than a 10 seed which is fine by me. The 8 and 9 seeds are death. Can't wait for K2 to host. I'm there, baby.
