"dominates" :confused:

At least he didn't write "eclipsed"; I hate that one.

Great game, by the way.

Beat USD. Go Pilots.

I love that the picture is Stocks passing and the caption says "Sam Dower scores 21" hehe

of Stocks isn't even from last night's game. They were wearing black last night, not the home whites.

The picture is still from the Xavier game, but they revised the headline to reflect reality. Maybe the Gozags.com folks read this board?

The @GonzagaBulldogs twitter feed said the same thing when we beat Portland by three at the beginning of February: "Gonzaga Dominates Portland, 67-64." Maybe the same guy?

While we're passing out dictionaries, put Sean Farnham down for one copy: At least three times last night, in his usual strident tone, he stated that something or other couldn't be "understated", when he clearly meant "overstated". English major. Sorry.

I know it is the fan site, but still I think it is a stretch to say 'Gonzaga Dominates St Mary's in Overtime Thriller.' Perhaps there is a usage of domination I am not familiar with.

Ah, but anyway, here is the accompanying of photo with the caption; 'Sam Dower scored 21 Points for Gonzaga.'

I agree. Had GU kept the lead completely through OT they might be able to make a case but it was a one possession game for virtually all of the extra period. The game was not decided until the final minute.

It's a poorly written headline.

We dominate everybody. But we do it secretly and with stealth by losing some games and making sure we never get too big of a lead. We are tricking everyone into thinking they have a chance at winning the championship.

Genius!

Par for the course, I'm afraid.
