Y'all....

How many points do we need to hold MM to in order for GU to win this important game?

I say 14 or under

hold him to his average, which I believe is about 20. Make someone else beat us........

Go ZAGS

What he said! Delay and Jones are slumping a bit; make them beat us. We can't let MM go off for, say, 35 points.

Well, if GU held him to 24 last time they would have won. So Uber agrees with the others and says keep him at his average (around 20) and make the others step up. Contain MM.

p.s. if MM gets into foul trouble, Few better be directing the offense to go after him...Uber is so sick of seeing opposing teams key players get into foul trouble and keep playing minute after minute.

MM is held to 25
Dell is held to 15
Jones is held to 15

That means 55 points scored by their big 3, if the rest of the team is held in check and they score in the mid 60's we win

AND NO ONE ELSE HAS A HISTORICAL day we WIN.

to get to the half court or get a shot, the better our chances. He's bound to get free and shoot occasionally. but we should make it difficult from first to last touch, every possession. wear him down, discourage his efforts and take him out of his rhythm.

We ought to know their plays by now. NEVER leave him (or Della) standing without a hand on his jersey.

Last game MM had 27, Delly 15, and Jones 15. Young off the bench contributed 9. I think if the Zags hold their big three to under 50 points combined the Zags win. The wild card for the Zags is Carter. Last time out in 20 minutes he scored 4 points. If he can duplicate or play much like he is playing the past few games; minimal turnovers/points contributed/great defense and providing assists in 30+ minutes, I like the Zags chances tomorrow night.

Hold them to their averages and we'll be good to go.

If Mathis Monninghoff goes off for 14+ tomorrow we're probably in pretty good shape considering how little he's been playing of late

Jesus, all I day I've been looking at this thread title, thinking, "Are we taking bets on how few points Hoff can score for us to win?" The premise didn't exactly make sense, then again few things posted here do.

I say we win if Hoff scores 6 or less. Anything more means he's padding stats as we try to rally from way back.

I'd worry about Steindl going off. He's been the invisible man on the court for the Gaels this season (sans the St. Johns and USF games) but he can shoot.

Need to have him miss his first few shots and then you wont have to worry about him.
