Didn't see this posted yet, if so feel free to delete/merge.

Today's bracketology looks a little different than the last, and lunardi has moved the zags...

I'd rather not have to face Kentucky in our first game...ugh.

Then again, it's not up to me (well, probably not up to me at least. Nobody has called....YET)

Woo -- under Lunardi's scenario -- Kentucky would be the Zags' 2nd game -- if they got by Boston College in the first round play in game.

OTOH Jerry Palm at www.collegerpi.com has brought up a great point in his premium section.

If for some reason GU is competing for an at-large berth come Selection Sunday -- they have head to head wins over 3 schools that may also be on the "bubble"

-- Oklahoma State, Baylor and Marquette.

Beat St. Mary's.

Get a tune up game against Backup College and then fight the slimy ####### Calipari and you don't want this?

SMC is still in the RPI top 50 as well. Good news as Zags travel to Moraga for the smackdown of the century.

Who cares who he puts us up against, he's terrible at figuring out match-ups.

He's pretty good at getting the field right though, so that makes me happy.

Has there been a year where NO bubble has burst because of conference tourney upsets? Being the very last in on a projection means we must beat St. Mary's for any at large consideration. Bear in mind, we have two rpi lowering games remaining. Saturday and the first game of the WCC tourney.

Two ways to get in the tournament. Both of them involve beating St. Mary's.

This is the bottom line. He will get 66 of 68 right. Let's just hope we're in the 66!

Of course beating SMC this week would help. Beating them twice (this week and Vegas) before Selection Sunday would lock us in.

I still think that after all of our discussions about an NCAA tournament without Michigan State, Gonzaga and Butler, there will be a tournament with Michigan State, Gonzaga and Butler.
