(I've taken up running. I'm kind of a monster. 6'4", 230 pounds of ROCK (and flab).

From last Saturday night. 5K, along the Portland Starlight Parade route.
(It's more like a costume-run for the insane.......but I'm crazy enough, just wearing my GU gear.)
Represent !!!!

(Before the race, ready to rock.)

(Finishing, with my own camera)........

(After the race. Where's the buffet??)

The Rest of the Photos, if you're interested in seeing Portland's finest NUTS (which means I fit right in. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/99165221@N00/sets/72157600303096929)

We all know you won by no less than 100 yards, right? Anything less would be disgraceful. :D

Take it easy with this stuff.

BobZag........OF COURSE I won. I know how to finish and put the competition away !!! ;) (I'm not under oath, am I?)

(I wanted to stop a few times, because I had some blisters, but that would have looked bad for the Zags.)

"Icy Hot" can kill me?

I better stop eating it, then. :o
It's sure good on a Ritz cracker !!!!!!

(What's next......someone being addicted to Flintstones vitamins??)

Of course, "Zombie Nation" is always in my CD player in the car........and THIS family just happened to be behind me at the start of the race.......

"What this race needs......is......."

(I have video of the start, and they started banging, and I said "Louder!! I gotta have more cowbell !!!!!!")

Actually, I read about wazmix's finish, and it was classic Gonzaga.

He built an early lead with great energy and precise execution, but lost focus on defense and his early lead was whittled away by a mediocre opponent. It wasn't until 2.1 seconds were left that he decided to make his move and barely eke out a victory. I almost had a heart attack.
