LMU is a good team, and the Zags beat them by more than the spread. That looks good to me.

Hondo, I couldn't have said it better myself! Well put!

Here's life on the road for the Zags. We play the Hanson brothers every game.
Just the way it is. get used to it. I think the LMU game signaled we finally realize it.

Here's how it is.

this GU team showed what they will need to keep doing to win, too. of course that includes overcoming themselves at times...part of the equation this year :)

owned the D glass. RS was a man possessed going for 2 handed boards. strong response to the Memphis game from him, and E too, the whole team for that matter on the glass. It has to be a strength for this team, every single missed shot, like it was last night, whoever the competition is.

held LMU to poor shooting

Marquise Carter has a chance. the opportunity is there for him to step up and grab that spot by the throat, and change the team. made some more strides last night, looked confident even. biggest beneficiary if this situation evolves positively will be Steven. Wasn't it BobZag who said it would take at least half a season for Marquise to get comfortable? if it occurs, changes the whole team, an x factor, as our foes all look to stop RS and Steven at all costs presently.

can RS, E and Marquise back it up so others can build more at Pepperdine? how about Hart down the stretch?

Well said Gamagin. The Hanson brothers know how to let the good time roll.

Thats how I saw it too....loved Meech's flying clothsline on their guard. That guard had it coming after he did the speed bag on Steven's face in an earlier scrum. Isn't it amazing how this league has gone from love tap fouls to announcers using MMA analogies....now thats what I call consistent WCC reffing....but hey, if it ends the 10 year streak why not! Wonder if the Hanson brothers can hoop? Walk ons?...GO Zags.

The Zags are never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you.

There's been so much whining on this board about refs constantly blowing the whistle for ticky-tack fouls and how that hurts the Zags in the NCAA tourney. Then we finally get a WCC game that's called like a big East game and everyone's whining about what an ugly game it was.

What the... I didn't see that coming.

I agree. My favorite stats from the box score, number of times score tied and lead changes, both zeroes. LMU was down the entire game.

Well like Hondo said, some people like to whine or maybe they are just a bit picky, like, to the left, no to the right, faster, slower...

I am happy for the WIN!

If the Zags learn to kick like those girls, no one will drive the lane. Best training film ever!

I never whine over a win no mtter how ugly. Would rather watch a game where the refs let things go, than watching a continual parade to the charity stripe.
