Not much doubt in my mind that Sam was The Man tonight.

Who's your player of the game ?

Anyone besides Dower seems a little silly to me. The guy can fill up the hoop.

Only really needed one option for tonight. Here is to hoping he sustains this level of play.

Just wanted to throw a vote stockton's way. But Sam was a stud for sure.

Wow what a weekend for Sam. If we can continue to get contributions from him the rest of the year, it will be awesome. 27 pts in 23 minutes. That is instant offense.

Dower. I liked the young man from the very first post I read about him on GU Boards.

I knew, from that day, that he had it in him. Just needed the minutes against the right match ups to show it.

Now, Sam. On to the next level. :)

Note to Coaching Staff: Please give Sam the minutes needed for him to prepare for that next level against national power teams come this March.

Yes. That's right. I'm still on the Band Wagon for a GU spot in the NCAA bracket.

With our win tonight, St. Mary's loss tonight against Portland and Sam's performance, my avatar is now back to it's familiar Smiling Bulldog. :) (Hoping to never return to my hungover version...... or even my sad version.)

Keep it Going, ZAGS!!

PS: Kudos to Stocks for sure. He even got FSN's "Player off the Bench Award" tonight (or whatever they call it). Thanks, john montana, for your vote for him.

Sudden Sam. No doubt.
I'll go out on a sturdy limb here. From this point forward. Sam gets G-Unit more times than his team mates and next years team mates through 2014 his senior year. He is good. He is smooth.

Sam is the man. Who would have guessed at the start of the season there would be a GUnit vote with 5 players that included Dower and Stockton and after 45 votes those two would have all the votes?

Sam sure seems to have the knack for putting it in the Basket. The younger players seem to be shy in being aggressive with the ball, thats why I like Dower and Stockton. Carter showed some very good dribbles tonight, he good be solid if he gets going. I still think the best starting lineup would be Stock,Gray,Sacre, Harris and Dower.

Dower Power! is a nice chant to hear.

Great job, Sam!

Like I posted after the SMC game - Sam is probably the best pure shooter we have. He really knows what to do with the rock ...and he does it very fast. Just has the touch..and rarely waits for the double team to arrive.

Radio guys were all over how things really began to cook when the second team came in at the 8 to 8 tie and realed off 12 unanswered points. Lots of motion and ball movement...took me back to the day! Were they running a different offense? Stockton was great feeding Dower and Carter had a very nice game. Lot more fun to watch than....can we force it into Rob and if not maybe we can find Gray open.

I agree! But did you notice that Few really rewarded the bench with PT.

Sam is my vote and he showed what we thought EH was going to be this year. Maybe there is room on the bench for him now...

I think Sams play requires that he see more time. When Harris goes quit, Few should put Dower in and keep the threat going. This occurring a few times will act as a real motivator for not going quit in the game. We have two great guys, maybe they can feed off one another.

Silky Sam Dower!

"Silky" is a great description of Sam. After seeing some recruting whiffs, he's clearly a keeper.

Thank you Reno, once again, for starting the thread. I don't think I've been around more than one time this season to start it! haha.

Good tally, good responses!!

This reminds me of some of the Ammo votes, where he would get all but just 3-5 votes.
