behind the horizon, colonial, and missouri valley. i would have thought the wcc could be ahead of these three...san diego must really be weighing the conference down. wonder what kind of boost the zags could give the wcc with a win over memphis? ...and what kind of boost byu will give the wcc next year? possibly up to #7 passing conference usa and the a-10 and mwc?

This could change if St. Mary's loses to Gonzaga and to 1 or 2 of the following: Portland, San Francisco, Sana Clara. They play all these teams on the road still. St. Mary's could lose both games this weekend just like we lost both last weekend. Anything can happen folks. It's still early in the year.

Even with BYU, I find it unlikely that we'd pass the A-10 or C-USA. With the loss of BYU and us picking them up, we might have a shot at passing up MWC if other teams in our league continue to progress.

Obviously, Reborn does not grasp the concept that conference ratings are not impacted one way or another when teams from the same conference play one another.

Unless a conference gets bonus points for having a ranked team, I don't see how this is relevant. If that was the case, it wouldn't really matter who SMC lost to.
