I haven't seen this link on this board so I thought I'd post it. If it has already been posted I apologize.

JP Batista has his own website with pics, bio, etc.

http://web.mac.com/jpbatista13/iWeb/Site/Welcome.html

Just thought i'd pass it along, wish the big fella played a few more years at GU, he's a class act.

This reminds me of why J.P. was my favorite Zag. Great young man, and a great role model of how the game should be played. I have a feeling we'll hear more good things about J.P. in the future.

Nice find LZIT. Some great pic when JP played for the Zags. Things like this are one of the reasons I come to this board. Thanks for the link.

Nice! Thanks for posting.

And apparently the site was built on a Mac too (judging by the URL). Good man!!!

(I detest Windows).

[Edited to clarify that Batista is a man.]

One of CDC's favorites as well......I wish he could play on this year's GU team. Imagine this lineup:

Pargo
Bouldin
Downs
Heytvelt
Batista

How could anyone not be a fan of JP!?

Seriously?

I can't think of any GU team he would not make better by his presence... past of future. Hopefully at some point he'll get his chance at the NBA - even for a cup of coffee.

its tough to imagine a 19 and 9 guy not getting a sniff at the nba. oh yeah, he cant run fast and jump high so his skills wouldnt be useful.

Hey, JP's playing with Kareem Rush! I didn't know that...

They picked him up after he got injured and released from his nba team. His athleticism was too much for the other guys on the court when I watched him play in Europe

CDC is right. JP will be (is?) an all-time favorite. And not to worry about bangin'-in-the-post. Foster at 270 and Sacre at 255+, led and nutured by Kuso, and supported by the "improving" Davis, will be very strong and get only stronger with time. I saw little of Foster last year, but watched him play in H.S. over here on the wet side. He is an athlete. Don't be surprised if after two more years at GU he leaves for the NBA. And Sacre the year after that.

Hey "in-training" you obviously are going to be a good addition to this group, since you found & posted this link so early in your career with us!

btw, JP's website contains his e-mail address & folks might consider sending him some "personal" kudos to reflect what I see posted so regularly here on the board. It's always nice to know your appreciated... just a thought ;)

JP ought to try out for the Cavs next season. After seeing him play a couple international games I'm 100% certain he's better than most of the other big men playing in the NBA eastern conference right now.
