Haven't heard about him yet.

Caleb Dressler, the 6-foot-10 junior post, is drawing attention from big-name college basketball programs including name schools such as Stanford, Gonzaga, California and Oregon.

Dressler is somewhat of a throwback, a 220-pound big man who plays with his back to the basket. It's the inside presence Evergreen needs, Dressler and his coach say, although Dressler claims he has the ability to step out and shoot three-pointers.

For several years, Dressler has been told he could go places with his basketball talent, and he's starting to believe it. It's hard to ignore when college coaches e-mail and call weekly, including name schools such as Stanford, Gonzaga, California and Oregon.

Dressler averages 20 points and 16 rebounds a game, and changes the opponent's offensive attack because of his shot-blocking ability.

"He opens the floor for everybody on our team. For sure, he affects the game," said Evergreen teammate, junior guard Tre Clark.

I'm told this kid is not as good as Austen Kuemper or Andy Poling, that Big Sky is where he belongs at the most, maybe D-2.

I just think Gonzaga and other schools are leaving no stone unturned, so they're checking out everybody just to make sure.
