I am just thrilled to be going into Christmas with two very good victories over Baylor and Xavier last night. The Zag ship sank pretty low this season, but it did not sink, and it is sailing once again. The Zags ship was certainly deeply wounded and injuries to Harris and Gray weakened it. But somehow the crew has held on and refused to go down and has now battled back with two victories over two very tough teams.

I don't know about you but I will have a merrier Christmas because of what the Zags have done. It isn't just that we won the last two games. It's about who we played and how we had to overcome all the obsticles that the kids overcame. I have a wonderful feeling ofjubilation in my heart and I am grateful to be a member of ZagNation.

For better or worse, the success or failure of the Zags affects my moods. Needless to say, the family coming into town for Christmas is grateful for the last couple of victories.

I too am grateful for the last 2 Zag wins, they send me into Christmas in a better mood. I also found a great way to be productive during the game by finally starting my gift wrapping although I wrap very slowly during the game especially when the Zags fell behind in the 2nd half. But my wrapping picked up speed when the Zags weathered Xavier's run and went on a run of their own to take control of the game.

Great to see the Zags bounce back under adversity to give us all hope of bigger and better things to come in the new year.

I was getting worried

that our ZAG theme christmas gifts to our nieces would be tainted by the "unZAGlike" start to the season, but with the recent rebound I am definitely still the "cool uncle". So, that's the most important part of this turnaround............

ZagNation at Christmas 2010 with two recent wins is a far happier place than ZagNation at Christmas 2009. ( Oh, the pain of "being there" to witness that loss to Duke in MSG! ).

Time to stop tracking the Zags for a spell, and start tracking SANTA! (Mt. Everest in Nepal as I post this ... getting closer!)
