This is my band Midnight Cry getting ready for our performance at the Bing Crosby Theater (the Met) downtown last night - and we had a surprise visitor! He gave us all some high fives and got us really pumped for the concert. He said he felt the "pre-game jitters" with us. :-)

BTW the show was sold out and was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!

@NEC26: It was awesome! Sold out, loud crowd of 700+. Professional stage crew and sound system so it sounded amazing.

@BobZag: We only play for Christmas and we play amped up rock versions of common Christmas carols. We also play our own songs in a similar style. We cover a lot of Trans-Siberian Orchestra tunes and our style in general is similar to theirs. Pretty sure we'll be playing at the Met again next Christmas or maybe even the Fox - look for us! We've had a billboard on northbound Divison this year plus some newspaper pub in the Spokesman last Friday and we also aired on the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge on December 5th. Here's a link to a video and the whole audio from that.

Thanks to everyone! I'll try to remember to post a thread next year on the Crosby forum to let you all know when and where our Spokane show will be. We'll also most likely be playing in Portland, Seattle, Wenatchee, and other stops in the NW.

How about Sandpoint, ID at the Panida?

Also, why not post it on the Foo? I avoid the Crosby forum--I try to keep my basketball and politics separate. ;)

Sandpoint would be fun. We'd need to do some marketing - might need a local to help us. :-)

Check out the Pend Oreille Arts Council website.

http://www.artinsandpoint.org/

They encourage local artists and bring in others as well.

We have amazing arts programs for a community this size. The story of the Panida Theatre is indicative of the the commitment.
