Gary Bell, Jr. and Kentridge suffered their first loss of the season vs Kentlake, with Gary scoring 22.

Kyle Dranginis and Skyview crushed Emmett, with Kyle scoring a strong double-double of 16 points and 16 assists. He was three rebounds away from a triple-double.

ZagNative should have better details soon.

I don't have the box score for Gary Bell's game yet. It will be up on Kentridge's bb site, but perhaps not until Monday.

Kyle did have a good game, though not quite 16 assists. More like 6, which is still nice. Here are Kyle's stats on the season to date:

As I mentioned on another post, Chris Sarbaugh led G-Prep with 15 points and a key pass at the end of the game, leading to a very tight 51-50 win.

The Idaho Statesman site has 16 assists. Grrr. Can't trust those Boise papers. :p

I got the stats from the cybersports site here (http://www.cybersportsusa.com/webgames/gamelist.asp?sport=Basketball&Hot+Games=HOT&Archive+Games=ARCHIVE&Level=HIGH+SCHOOL&Style=All&submit1=View+the+Game+List). I suppose it's possible cybersports got it wrong, but I'd be inclined to think they're a more reliable source than the Statesman.

Box score for the Emmett game here (http://www.cybersportsusa.com/webgames/webgame.aspx?xmlfile=SkyEmm121720101832.xml&uid=0&ssid=) on that site.

Kyle got some help from Andrew Timmons' 14 points in the 56-27 win. Timmons' average points previously was 4.75, so maybe Kyle is finding more success getting his teammates involved.

The 11 points might bring his scoring average down under 30 a game! Oh nooos.

I remember how dominant Violette was at Bishop Kelly, he and Jeff Goss ('94) are the only Idaho recruits I can remember. I do not recall an Idaho player being as dominant as Kyle seems to be (I have not seen him play). I wonder if there are others, more knowledgeable, who know whether he would be considered one of or THE best boys BB players to come out of Idaho. I know that BYU has recruited some of the better players from eastern Idaho, but do not know how they would compare.

Just wondering, if anyone would hazzard a guess, or know.

My Michigan State Grad buddy who lives in Seattle has seen Bell play a few times. He says Gonzaga has "Help On the Way"..."very impressive player". He should know, he has been very reliable on perspective over time.

He is sick over Izzo situation...
