Terry Gannon & Stephen Bardo.

 :espn:

This update is generally announced via CDC, yet I got so excited to see Bardo instead of Vitale(or worse), I had to share the great news!

A breath of fresh commentating air...

It hardly matters if ESPN doesn't show the game until it's half over.

Gannon and Bardo have both been on some solid career paths at the worldwide leader.

I saw Gannon doing some NBA games with Hubie Brown and Jon Barry and Bardo has been doing some solid NCAA games here and there.

I actually really like our new ESPN guy, Sean Farnham but hopefully Gannon and Bardo can throw us some good vibes.

I recall watching Stephen Bardo in the Kingdome when he was a member of the Flyin' Illini Final Four team that lost a heartbreaker in the national semi finals to Steve Fisher's Michigan Wolverines. I wonder whatever happened to Fisher?

I also enjoyed Terry Gannon's work as one of the studio hosts of the recent Winter Olympics.

Hopefully the Zags will give Illinois a good game, and can pull one out (despite having one of Illinois' own guys on the broadcast team).

Still feel Bardo is ESPN's best color analyst besides Billy Raff......

It's so crabby on guboards of late, I'm just waiting for some chronically disgruntled Zag fan to one-star this thread ...;)

like them both, but don't think I'll be able listen to Mr. Bardo this time :)
