These pics can also be seen on my blog, but for those of you who haven't/aren't going to go to it, I'll just post them here. (LINK TO THE BLOG---> http://gozagswoohoo2.blogspot.com/ )

Oh, and since you clicked on my thread, you have to listen to a few of my thoughts. (That's my rule, I just made it up.) You don't have to agree with me, but you have to listen for a second.

Thoughts/Observations: (Please read and comment, even if you disagree)

First- One of my biggest pet peeves is poor clock management toward the end of games. I notice it very quickly, and it always makes me mad (but guess what, I had ZERO ISSUES WITH THE MARQUETTE GAME!!!!). I've seen a few people complaining about how Meech handled the clock late in the Marquette game, and I will tell you first hand, he did GREAT. Yes, he sprinted up the floor a few times, but then he pulled back! And I'm sorry to say this, I'm not usually this blunt, but for those of you who complain about Meech not having any points in the Marquette game, and think that translates to a poor performance.....that's probably the third DUMBEST thing I have heard in my life. Our PG had ZERO turnovers and TEN rebounds. I will take that ANY day. We have SO many offensive weapons! If our PG can get the ball down the floor with no turnovers AND pull down 10 boards....WOW. That's GREAT! Honestly, ask yourself this question, at the beginning of the season, how many points did you EXPECT Meech to average per game? Honestly. We KNOW he isn't and will never be a huge offensive threat. So what does that mean? If he isn't going to score, he needs to do everything else well. No turnovers and 10 boards sounds GREAT. Stop compaining!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I pray Meech or the other players don't read some of the bull crap on this forum that so many people spew after a loss.....or.....a win <---------LOL. And by NO MEANS am I saying that you should stop posting this opinions. This is an internet forum, if it's not offensive, or includes bad language, rumors, etc, post it all you want. But that also gives me the right to make fun of it in my own thread. :-)

Second- Elias and Manny are the key to Gonzaga being a Top 25 team. They were, IMO, the x-factors last season. They were 2 spots that stepped up HUGE last year, and NOBODY expected it. That's why the zags were ranked so high pre-season! So, if we don't get the 'norm' from them (which we hadn't had until Marquette), we WON'T be a Top 25 team. Maybe not even Top 50. I'm really glad to see them finally show up, that was a great sign.

Third- Zags fans are the greatest. We are SO lucky to have this team, school, support, fanbase. I hope everyone can slow down and realize that. The generosity I've seen amongst fans is amazing. I always meet such incredible people on my zags trips/road trips. It amazes me more and more every trip. Just the general attitude of the zags fans, and the attitude towards eachother is different than the other schools. Everyone is like a huge family, or close friend. My buddy and I did a lot of people watching in our lobby, just watching players, coaches, fans, etc. It was EVIDENT the entire time. I love it. It's amazing. I hope everyone realize's this.

PS- I will probably add a fourth and/or fifth point soon! haha.

Enjoyed your BLOG.. and Agree with your points. 1-3 at least . (especially #1 as the Meech bashing is boring the Heck out of me).

Nice to get info on your trip for those of us who are not season ticket holders , and are stuck in -10 Degree Spokavegas weather.

Just to add, the box score is a little different than what I saw last night, TWO points, ELEVEN Rebounds, FOUR assists (of our NINE total), and 1 turnover.

Meech, give that to me every night, and I will bake you a cake every single night. (Okay, maybe not, cuz that might be some sort of violation). But you know what I mean.

I thought you were taller than Kelly!?

We're about the same height, but I was wearing some loafers, and he had on high tops, so, that adds quite a discrepancy.

But no, seriously, I am quite certain that Kelly was riding the elevators for fun. I kid you not, he was on the elevator probably every 3rd time I rode up or down the floors. He cracks me up too, because he was usually barefoot, and his hair looked like he had been riding down the highway at 100mph with his head out the window. Haha. Super nice kid though.

PMTA

Glad you had a good time, man. Is it true that Dickie V. is actually a slowly malfunctioning robot?

Woohoo is missing the best photo he could've had from the whole trip, since we forgot to take one together. Excellent to see Zags in the Kansas City area. Thanks for making the trek out here, fans! Oh, and just in case you wanted to know, it was 60 degree weather today.

Actually, the way I understand it is that Kelly thought you were stalking him, telling his teammates that, every single time he was on the elevators, there was this goofy guy staring at him while saying "PMTA".

At a time when this board has been teetering from an emotional roller coaster ride your posts and pics made me smile.
