Andy Katz visits Butler but just can't help from mentioning the Zags several times in his article:

Should he "help it"? What's the matter with mentioning Gonzaga?...if anything? We can't buy publicity like this. Send him a congrats!
When it's a mid major who isn't "supposed" to be in the majors, why wouldn't he mention GU since Zags are the prototype.

We're the reference point against which others are measured. I like it....and it helps.

Oh he could "help it" but he doesn't want to;) I don't want him to "help it"....Go Andy!!!

I watched the video that went with the article and found it interesting that they discussed Butler getting off to a slow start last year because they weren't doing the little things before making their final four run. As stressed as we are about whether our team is ready for the games immediately ahead of them, we should remember a few early season stumbles won't kill a season.

This is how I hope our team feels (unlike our most timid fans here).

"It might have seemed crazy to those outside, but we did believe that we could make it there," senior forward Matt Howard said of last season's Final Four. "That's our ultimate goal. Two years ago, as a sophomore, we didn't have those goals. We were talking about getting to the tournament and go from there. But last year, we really had a good team and we didn't want to sell ourselves short." :starwars:

Interesting that Stevens actually spoke to Few about what to do. It shows me that Few has moved from the role of a young, up-and-coming coach to an established respected vet among the coaching fraternity.

I guess you earn the title of mentor after years of success, but I have trouble moving past the image of Mark as the young new face. I guess it means I am getting old too.
