"Could the Longhorns be undervalued because of their collapse and the exit of five players, three of them to the NBA? NCAA rules prohibit coach Rick Barnes from discussing details of his team's two closed scrimmages, against Davidson and Gonzaga. But snooping around, you get the feeling that the Longhorns did quite well Saturday against 12th-ranked Gonzaga in Denver.

The UT stars were freshman post player Tristan Thompson and sophomore wing Jordan Hamilton, in that order. Somebody mentioned that senior Matt Hill played well."

Sounds like Few has reason to be concerned... Nebulous but something to think about......

Don't forget that two of our big three, Harris and Gray, didn't play in that game. Still, I'm sure a winning coach like Few doesn't like looking bad no matter what the reason, so that could account for some of the recent crankiness.

Speculation - spectacular spectacle of a suspicious spectrum of silly soundless suppositions.

Doom, Doom, Doom,
Few know the dark implications of impending doom.
All is lost, and all will be forgotten.
The children cry in lonely hunger.

Nothing like drawing conclusions from "But snooping around, you get the feeling" and "Somebody mentioned that".

The past few days around these parts have been comedic brilliance

I love the idea that somehow Gonzaga isn't as good or Texas is better based on us not playing our two top players. No kidding they outplayed us.

Would the American's have won the Civil War without Thomas Jefferson??

Would the United States have won the French Revolution without Abraham Lincoln??

Would the Slavery Abolishment Act have passed without JFK???

NOO!!

So why would we be up in arms about Texas giving us a run for our money when Elias AND maybe SG were both out?? It's bouisterous!
