Hey I'm a long time reader of the forum, and a big Canadian high school basketball enthusiast. I'll probably be around the boards every once in a while to give my two sense on some Canadian related topics, but I'm also a really big fan of what your program has done.

I know how you guys like to keep out to date on Canadian prospects, so I thought I would just introduce a new one.

https://garytrousdale.wordpress.com/2010/09/22/6-10-keanau-post-%E2%80%93-westwind-prep/

"Big bodied post with decent feet and hands. Can run the floor and has improved with weight loss. Can knock down 15footer. Back to basket is strength. Needs upper body power to finish in traffic. Passionate about game. Coachable. Tremendous upside and has H Majors interested. ONLY A 2012!. Which makes very attractive. Landed at WPI via Victoria, BC (Canada). Washington State and Utah State hyperactive for verbal. Keanau will draw major interest this season. "

I've had the chance to see him play a couple times. He is still raw, but has two years left to develop his game under very good coaching at Westwind Prep. His upside is great and he has great intangibles at the moment. His frame gives him the potential to add lots of muscle, and his wingspan is huge. He is a true center, with a soft touch, who is best with his back to the basket and rebounds at a high rate. On defense he is a big presence, and alters or blocks many shots. From everything I've heard he loves to work hard and improve his game.

Also there is going to be article on him in the first issue of the Flagrant Fouls Magazine. http://twitpic.com/2rk6vl

Just thought I'd share, cheers!

Tend to agree with the assessment..to me though he just seemed almost "soft" for a kid his size. Needs to find some fire somewhere.
