Not that SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) would allow me to buy this ANYWAYS, but I would just really like to know who might have worn this jersey. If it was someone totally rad, that was still around and could possibly sign it, I would consider selling some plasma or whatever and try and buy this for my zags man room.

Hondo,GoZags, El Voce? what say you guys?
The supplied photo of Stocktan shows him wearing a jersey that is similar but also different in some ways. No outline on Gonzaga for instance and what appears to be a darker color for the numbers and letters. The size 40 chest would seem to indicate a guard , certainly not a "big". I'd be surprised if it pulls the starting bid.

Number 14 was worn be several guys over the years. By the style I would say late 80s and number 14 at the time was Mike Winger. Just a guess.

I remember the team played not so great because of injuries around that time. They needed a replacement player.

I'm not sure if this is the number but the team had one of the student inter-mural players on the squad for awhile.

If I remember right he got in one game and was fouled and missed the free throw.

I was at GU 1980-1984.

Just judging by the jersey size, I would guess that it would have been an end of the bench walk-on, perhaps the team's actual 14th man.

The style seems to predate my time at Gonzaga: 1992-1996. We had a couple of walk-ons/student managers who got into a game or two over the years. Both of whom were really small and might have been small enough to wear a jersey of that size.

Jeff was number 14 from 83-86. He was 6-3. A 6-7 walk-on Jeff Reinert had it in 1982-83 so I dont think its his.

right kingzag.
not sure what # Geno was, 3?
But Uniform looks similar to that time frame, maybe pre-82 as don't think it was JC's or Rienharts.
