What follows is my calendar of some Gonzaga recruits on the road in coming days between now and July 16. Do you have anything to add?

Note: Kyle listed the LeBron James Skills Academy previously, but I haven't seen him mention it lately and the site will not be listing the official Roster until the night of July 6th, so I'll be interested to see if he shows up in Akron. He deserves a rest, heaven knows, but that camp would be pretty hard to pass on.

Amazing work ZN. WHATTA BABE!
Keita sure seems busy.
Pangos and Notice= dream tandem. Notice needs work but he's young yet. Pangos could likely start at many D1 places. He's out kind of guy.

Just so glad we got Gary Bell, jr. Expect great things....we will get great things from Gary. Trust this one!
Wiltjer....might be too heavily recruited by the BCS schools. He's getting more popular as time goes by and (likely) as he gets better and better.

GET PANGOS and WILTJER!!! Just such an amazing kid we have in Bell. Dranginis....we'll all be surprised to see this big guard light things up AND play defense! Few got us a dandy with him.

Next up....some bigs! Manny owns the wing this year.

Go Zags!

Thanks, Abe. I've just kept squirreling away little acorns in a spreadsheet over the summer, fearful I'd face a day without Gonzaga-related basketball! Turns out there's hardly a day without something going on with a Gonzaga twist.

Monninghoff is currently in a tournament in Cisternino, Italy, BTW. Here's a nugget from Eurobasket (http://www.eurobasket.com/Germany/basketball.asp?NewsID=194933) about Germany's progress in that event so far:
Germany U18 wins and loses in Italy - Jul 4, 2010 (by Eurobasket News)

Germany U18 wins and loses in Italy during the first two days of the International tournament with four teams participating: Italy U18, Poland U18, Serbia U18 and Germany U18.

Italian Cisternino hosts an International tournament with four teams participating: Italy U18, Poland U18, Serbia U18 and Germany U18.

In Day 1 Serbia U18 edged Germany U18 78:65. The winners started with 12-10 after the opening quarter and increased to 29:26 at the halftime. Serbia continued to take a bigger lead in the second half and grabbed 56:50 lead after three periods. They managed to keep the score for good and won the opener. Nikola Siladi (206-F-92) top-scored for Serbia with 20 points and Besovic posted 16. Drenovac delivered 12, whilst Bogic Vujosevic (189-G-92) produced 8. Dennis Kramer (208-F-92) replied with 24 points in the losing case. Philipp Neumann (210-C-92) collected 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Patrick Heckmann scored 6.

In Day 2 Italy U18 lost to Germany U18 48:52. The most interesting part of the game was that the last quarter has finished with 4-4. At first Germany opened the game with 18-12 after the first 10 minutes. Italy responded with 16-15 in the second period and also produced the same 16-15 in the third quarter. Both teams entered the last frame at 48:44 but managed to add only 4 points each. Mathis Monninghoff paced all the winners with 11 points and Dennis Kramer netted 8. Philipp Neumann and Lars Wendt notched 6 points apiece, while Ole Wendt nailed 5. Marco Ceron (192-G-92) ended up with 15 points in the losing effort. Sabbatino chipped in 8, whilst Pini scored 6. Interesting to note that Dennis Kramer, who racked up 24 points for Germany in that first game and was previously named MVP of the Douai tournaament we followed here, is headed to Billy Grier's campus in San Diego this fall. That may have been mentioned elsewhere on the board as we followed the Douai tournament, but it didn't sink in with me. It will be interesting to see if Monninghoff gets past the NCAA clearinghouse and ends up facing his old buddy on the U18 team in WCC play.

No rest for the weary, apparently. Kyle tweets (http://twitter.com/kwiltj/statuses/17735753630):
As soon as I got my bags unpacked I have to leave again. Going to LeBron Skills Academy and Peach Jam. Back the 17th.

Digging into the team list at the NW Premier event, there are some other teams beside Boise FLite that staff might be interested in scouting. There aren't any rosters up, but the kids listed below might be appearing in that event with the team listed:

NW Panthers 17u - Landen Lucas
Salt Lake Metro - Corbin Miller*
ICP Portland Black 17u - Austin Kuemper**
Rotary Select I - Gary Bell
FOH 17U - Darien Nelson-Henry

*Corbin Miller has had the Zags listed in ESPN forever, whough I haven't seen any discussion of Zag love in a while.

**Austin Kuemper seems to have fallen off the radar, but you just never know, do you?

Looking at the listings, B.C is well represnted with Provinclial U15, U16 and U17 represented as well as teams from the Drive and Athelite clubs. The B.C. Under 16 team has a young man named Mitchell Goodwin who was probably the 2nd best guard at the Canadian U15s last year behind Duane Notice. Mitch (2012) has decent size (6'2" )and from what I hear has NBA 3 point shooting range.

ZN, tried to rep you for this AWESOME chart but the man is holding me down!ZN is nothing if not obsessive about Gonzaga basketball ... But if a tree falls in the forest, and ZN was not online to hear it, did it make a sound? I think not.
