If this rematch is half as exciting as last season, I will need a defribulator, a damp towel, and 3 bags of paperclips nearby.

And a bottle of Jack Daniels to wash down a fistful of Xanex.

Nice thing is that the game's early enough in December that a body might not have to chain up the rig to make it over Snoqualmie Pass!

When the snow is flying on the Pass, I think The Man confiscates the Jack Daniels and Xanax at about Cle Elum ....

All Bulldog Club members have been mailed an order form with ticket information for the Comcast Battle in Seattle, The Showcase, the RMHC Classic and the CBE Classic in Kansas City, Mo. Tickets to The Showcase also include the other half of the double-header event pitting the University of Arkansas against Texas A&M.

In addition to the Bulldog Club pre-sale currently underway, there will be a Spokane-only pre-sale for the Comcast Battle in Seattle beginning Sept. 11, with tickets to the general public going on sale Sept. 18, both sales through Ticketmaster.com.

I posted the above note about the Spokane only presale. I just read the BIS website and it seems to suggest that people who are on the "BIS mailing list" will also be able to buy presale tickets. I think I am on the BIS email list but have not seen anything about presale tickets. Anybody have better information? I can hire my nephews in Spokane to go to Ticketmaster and buy me a few tickets at the Spokane presale, but I would prefer to do things from the comfort of my own computer.

Thanks in advance if you know anything useful.

I believe if you go to the BIS official site (http://www.battleinseattle.com/) and enter your email address it will confirm your current status if you are successfully registered on the update list.

So, do we know yet what TV network will be carrying the game? With an opponent of Illiniois' status (and how good they're going to be), it seems CBS or ABC would pick it up for a national telecast.

I am on the mailing list for BIS but they haven't sent anything about presale yet. Not taking chances so I'm going to have one of my Spokane peeps pick up some on Saturday

I just got the BIS presale code emailed to me by Key Arena. I already have my tickets through the Bulldog Club, so will give the code to the first person who PM's me. (I don't know if more than one person can use it.)

Jacked up the prices again. Don't they know that the economy has been in the toilet the past few years??

Oh well, got to keep my 22 year streak of seeing a live Zags game going.

For what TicketRobbers charges for extra fees, they should allow you to choose a section. I prefer to sit near center court, even if I have to go up a few rows.

Wow, can you believe the BIS prices this year! Sold out of the $110 tickets, very few of the $80 tickets left. So if you want to see the game, its the $190 tickets or the $270 tickets!

I think we got courtside seats five years ago for $85.
