Gonzales also was the winning pitcher in the championship game for the fourth year in a row. He also was adept at the plate, hitting .471 with seven home runs, 34 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

Gonzales, who has signed a letter of intent with Gonzaga, is the third consecutive Rocky player to win the award. Bryan Peters won it last year and Andy Burns in 2008.
