Wiltjer's Oakland Soldiers team is insanely loaded. They've got to be one of the best in the entire country.

I hope some pub comes out about Darien Nelson-Henry soon. He sends me a strong Joe Burton vibe at this point which sounds good to me.

Sure would like to see Donny Daniels flex some SoCal recruiting muscle and go after 2012 Branden Ashley.

If it were just lil ol' me, I'd offer Darien when he comes here June 20th and push for a commitment. He's a taller Cory Violette. Very nice banger.

Only saw DNH once, but I'd compare him much more to JP Batista than Violette. Violette is quicker and more athletic, DNH is a mountain of a kid with almost no hops who needs to use his bulk and knack for positioning to make up for that. If DNH becomes the rebounder the previous 2 were, it'll be by using bulk and positioning instinct, and his great hands like JP did.

Though he's not there yet, in time DNH has the tools to score in the post like JP did, given the great development he'll get at GU and assuming the presence of great entry passes from the guards he'll be playing with.

Less of an athlete and more of a skill guy than Cory imo. Another comp for DNH- a shorter, wider Todd McCulloch (sp?).

Edited to add in the 1 game I saw, as a hs soph DNH made a couple of length of the floor outlets for layups that looked like Kevin Love or Wes Unseld. No idea if he can do that all the time, but on those plays it looked like he has that ability.

I'd take another JP in a heartbeat. I've only seen short clips of DNH and he is so young yet, he still has baby fat... But you can just tell he's gonna be a real dandy. Even the untrained eye can see the potential. Anyway, I do hope Few offers and gets him before he blows up or something.
