    AP All-American Team

    Bouldin: Hon. mention.

    Same for Samhan and Pondexter.

    Point of comparison

That sounds fair for Bouldin. Angelo, it is true that only Morrison and Dickau were All-American? Who else has GU had who made honorable mention?

            Pretty good company

I knew you would have that Angelo. Being an HM with guys like Santangelo, Calvary & Stockton ain't a bad way to wrap your senior year, especially when you consider there are 350 X 13 Division I college basketball players out there. 4 WCC championships, WCC POY, 4 NCAA appearances, etc makes for a good resume' .

              Congrats to Bouldin!

Lots of good NBA types on the Hon Mention list. Matt tailed off or maybe he could have upped his chances to be on one of the regular teams. Doesn't matter...we love the kid and he did a fantastic job.

I believe every D1 Conference POY who is not 1st or 2nd team automatically becomes an AP All American honorable mention. That's how Sean Dennison (sp?) of Santa Clara became one - when he shared POY honors with Raivio the year that Santa Clara won the WCC regular season title -- or so they thought before losing the final weekend to both LMU and Pepperdine.

Nice accolade for MB. Good guy, good player. He will always be a popular Zag from the past. Not a Stepp or Dickau or Morrison level player, but a good one nonetheless.
