Watching now.

He's unstoppable.

Thanks for teasing me CDC!

What position does he play? looks like he plays a 5 for his team...

Kyle will be a 4 man in college. He has a rep for being a perimeter oriented big guy, but he also has a loaded offensive skill set in the low blocks. He can go with either hand, has great foot work and a soft touch. But he can do a lot on the perimeter....he had a reverse layup from the baseline in the 2nd half that reminded me of Austin Daye. He's also a good low post defender. He blocked a ton of shots in this game.

Jesuit's point guard, Stephen Holt - who will be attending St. Mary's - is a future all-WCC performer. He's a tall, strong, powerful guard.

I wasn't sure about him until that reverse layup, and at that point I thought of Daye too.

When I heard that Holt was going to St Mary's I just thought "Uh oh". Reminds me of Patty Mills, though perhaps not quite as quick. He's gonna give us fits.

The game was played on Saturday. Jesuit won it's second state title in a row. Wiltjer scored 19 points. Recap here. (http://highschoolsports.oregonlive.com/news/article/-8563087453570400445/6a-boys-follow-jesuit-makes-it-look-easy-but-win-over-westview-was-harder-than-it-looked/)

That link has the video highlights as well! Kyle is an absolute beast on the block...Few would be adding another no question starter from day 1.

What are chances of getting him?

What are chances of getting him?

Extremely good. Zags are the favorite right now.

Holt reminds me more of Bouldin and Gray than Patty Mills.

Like this photo from the Westview game, with Kyle at the top of the pyramid...

I suppose you're right about him being more like Gray especially.

I can't believe we're the frontrunner with Wiltjer. Assuming he progresses nicely his senior year it seems like he'd be an immediate starter once he got here.

I thought he was going to struggle when I was watching him. Then I found out he was a junior. :)
