We won't get Marquette in the first round as 10 seed. They are playing like a 3-4 seed and with the victory over 'Nova they might just get a 7-8 seed.

We dodged that bullet, but who will fill their spot in the 10 seed slot?

Villanova has pretty much sucked the last few weeks. They should fall to about a 4 or 5, but have "that reputation" of looking great early in the year.

In another thread I detailed their year game by game - not much to brag about, really.

I'm not sure that the 'cuse will drop from a projected 1 seed down to a 10...

Like they were going to be a 10 seed...bracketology is just silly...but it's doing what it was designed to do.

Marquette's tallest starter is 6'6, I really wouldn't mind that matchup with our height and length. Marquette has to shoot well to play well (they hit 11 of 16 3's today against vill). Bring on the big east!

We'll probably get the 10 seed and play them as a 7 in Milwaukee. ;)

No doubt. Dodge a bullet only to have it ricochet off the rock, to the car bumper then off the stop sign and right into my right a$$ cheek.

Still Marquette is playing themselves into a higher seed than 10 and hopefully the selection committee doesn't do again what it did to us back in 2002. Pray they give us more credit than they did back then. We should have been a #2-#3 seed and instead they deal us an unprotected #6 seed against Wyoming. We had cold shooting to a tough team at playing near their home at high altitude. I remember Josh Davis getting every rebound for the cowboys and Blake Stepp having the worst game of his career. Stepp, 1-13 from the field. That 2002 was almost as heartbreaking as 2006. Brutal. Dan Dickau's last game and he almost willed us to win all by himself.

You took the words out of my mouth. Wondering the same. One team we don't want to play is Cal. Their 3 point shooting is sick.
