Take Aways:

Actually surprised that the horrific shooting in the LMU game had such a small impact on the FG%.
I'm still trying to grasp why a team that is in the top 100 (and improving) in 3FG% takes so few threes.
Blocked shots was the big jump this wee rocketing up 43 positions. But stats like Blocks and steals (down 31 this week) deal with such small numbers that they are more likely to have big swings.
Bright spot... FT% moved up... 4 spots... a whole 1.1% improvement.
Before we jump off a building regarding FT%... Kansas State and Texas are worse.
Matt Bouldin is ranked 29 in FT% (86.7%)
Elias Harris is ranke 24th in FG% (55%)

For some reason just not taking any comfort in that.

Well, I'm not sure either, LIZF, but remember that can be a two way street. Perhaps (and this seems reasonable to me), they have such good 3 point numbers BECAUSE they are judicious in their 3 point shot selection; were they to hoist more threes, their good look/bad look ratio might decrease along with their overall perentage.

Me either... just thought I'd I'd share it. Texas is REAL bad. Zags are at 66%, Horns are at 60%.

Sacre is shooting 100% from deep (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=36392), why don't we have him coming off double screens and launching more?

It would be nice if those three were top50. Kenpom has GU at 57 for adjusted D, which supports the contention that GU's D is better than these raw numbers but still....it be nice to be higher. FWIW, they were 18 last year and 33 the year before.

I am sure that was meant to be some sort of dig... My point is that you have 4 guys on the team (besides Rob) who take 3s regularly and make them at around a 40%+ rate. I'm not saying rely on the 3... but try to increase that stat by 2 per game which would equate out, by %, to about 6 or so more attempts.
