Man, I'm there. Bob Finn and the Alumni Association do a great job on this event.

Ketchup doesn't go on hotdogs. Or John's Pork Chop sandwiches.

What I don't get is mayo on hamburgers. Yuk. Special sauce, sure, ala Arctic Circle or Big Mac, but straight mayo is gross on burgers, imo.

In Chicago, they have hotdog stands on almost every block. The Chicago metropolitan area boasts more hot dog restaurants than McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger Kings combined.

Many hot dog stands in Chicago don't even have ketchup. You want to see to get verbally assaulted, or worse, at Wrigley Field? Eat a hotdog with ketchup on it!

Who is the poster on this board who celebrates all Zag wins with a "Victory Dog"?? I seem to recall that this interesting creation involved sauerkraut and a splash of the best red chile sauce on the planet:

Man, its been 20 years since I bit into an Artic Circle burger .... loved their sauce. Eating countless numbers of their burgers in my formative years made me the man I am today!!

A six-year study was conducted on over 47,000 men by the Harvard medical School and Harvard School of Public Health on the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables to help prevent and reduce the chances of cancer. Out of the 46 fruits and vegetables that were assessed, only tomatoes and tomato products showed any promising signs of helping

I do Spicy Mustard, Ketchup and Kraut or chili on my brats and dogs, same on burgers, with no mayo. What I don't get is buying a really good steak and putting steak sauce on it. Salt and pepper is all a GOOD steak needs. If you need to buy cheap, go for it and hide the taste with anything, but give me a good dog instead. I have learned to go for quality over quantity. That's what being 60 does.

No, just relish. I could try that, though.

It is good. I can't have it until after Easter as I gave up red meat for Lent.

Green chile relish from New Mexico:

My Dad makes it homemade. He literally has to cover his arms or they will blister during the cooking process.
